How It Works at SDC

We accept women’s, men’s children’s, designer handbags, clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry. All items must be in new or like-new condition, with minimal signs of wear. Clothing must be dry cleaned and brought in on hangers (your hangers will be returned).

Consignments are accepted by appointment only to ensure we have time to answer your questions and review our policies in detail. Our team is available 7 days a week to assist you before, during, and after your consignment period.

Once items are received, they undergo a two-step inspection:
    1.    Initial review by our sales team.
    2.    Final inspection by our Operations Team to verify condition, authenticity, and eligibility.

Items that do not pass the second inspection can be picked up or donated on your behalf. Once approved, your items will be authenticated, priced, and placed on the sales floor. Please allow 4–7 business days for this process, depending on volume.

High-value items are prioritized for photography and featured on our website and social media. While we strive to showcase as much as possible, not all items will appear online due to inventory volume.

Unsold items are subject to a 25% markdown every 30 days. Commission is paid based on the final selling price. We also hold seasonal sales events throughout the year in addition to our regular markdown cycle.

At the end of your consignment term, it is your responsibility to contact us to claim any unsold merchandise. Items not collected by the expiration date will become the property of Sofia Designer Consignment.
